The goal of Women's Ministry is to reach out to our community with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Well, isn't that the goal of all Christians? Of course. Then why have a Women's Ministry? Simple. Women think differently than men. They respond differently than men and they have different needs than men. This ministry, therefore, is specifically designed to develop the talents and spiritual growth of the women in our church so they can be effective witnesses in our community and beyond.
We offer a variety of programs that ladies can get involved in such as: Comfort Kits for kids, Food for Body & Spirit, Created for a Purpose, our cooking schools and annual Women's Retreat. Many of these programs reach out to the women of Recovery Village – a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center for moms. These young women desperately need to know about the love of God, His mercy and the hope of a better life. In working with them we find ourselves growing closer to God and develop talents we never knew we had!

Women's Ministry will be starting a new program for the ladies of Recovery Village May, 2017. It is called, "Created for a Purpose". It is a sort of Creation seminar designed to show these young women that they were created by a loving God and therefore have value and there is a purpose for their lives. This is a new program we are trying so we would especially appreciate your prayers as we get this started. Also we will be providing healthy snacks and a simple craft for the ladies.
